WE PRESERVE ANCIENT VALUES FOR THE WHOLE WORD TO EXPERIENCE

A TIMELESSLY CAPTIVATING TERRITORY

The Capitanata, located in northern Puglia is a marvelous land – an environment where terroir, altitude, and microclimate create the ideal conditions for producing excellent wines. Whispers of history permeate this timeless terrain, where vestiges of life from medieval to prehistoric times intertwine with the landscape of today. The enchanting allure of The Capitanata captivates hearts and souls with its spellbinding beauty; even Frederick II, self-proclaimed “man of Apulia,” held it dear as his chosen homeland—the crowned jewel of his kingdom.

THE GRAPE HARVEST

THE FIRST ACT OF A
REMARKABLE STORY

The harvest is a complex but extraordinary experience, both cyclical and ever-changing. Throughout this period in the life of a wine, it’s crucial to pay close attention to the subtle nuances communicated by the climate and nature.

Our goal is to strike a harmonious blend of innovative techniques and time-honored tradition. Our mission is to uplift both treasured indigenous grape varieties like Nero di Troia and revitalize international varieties such as Malbec, which once flourished in the region.

WINEMAKING: THE ART OF EXQUISITE BALANCE

Our winemaking begins soon as the last grape is harvested, preventing a lapse of time from tarnishing the quality of our wines. Each stage is carefully supervised, employing a “less is more” philosophy in which every winemaking choice is aimed at achieving balance in our wines. Committed to organic farming and sustainability, we are deeply devoted to minimizing our environmental footprint.
